September is recognized as National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and National Suicide Prevention Week is celebrated from the 3rd to the 10th. This is a time to raise awareness of this stigmatized topic of suicide. Join Disability Services and other campus partners in their support of suicide awareness. We will be introducing a "Take One, Share One" initiative this year. This program encourages students to take a positive message and leave one for their fellow Bobcats, recognizing that the transition to college can be quite challenging. We invite you and your staff to contribute by writing encouraging messages to share with the students.

Our program highlights the latest in assistive technologies for individuals with disabilities. We aim to raise awareness and educate stakeholders about accessible services and campus programs. We urge vendors to engage with attendees by discussing and distributing resources on assistive technology. Through these efforts, we strive to support and empower individuals with disabilities.
